Deer 1 Skater 0
I've done this climb and descent a hundred times and I've always thought about the possibility of a deer or mtn lion darting across the road and me smacking it. Thankfully it hasn't happen. The same cannot be said by this skater. I hope he's okay.

It's never too late
With that said, I'm going to try to be the best I can be in 7 weeks. I'm going to pedal my bike as fast as I can and hope for the best. Right now...I'm fat, slow and hungry! Not hungry to eat..well maybe but more hungry to prove to myself and my girlfriend that I can be with the best. My plan is simple. I'll take the next 2 weeks with no racing to get in better shape and build the engine. Then I will race the last 5 Thursday night CSP races in August and hope for high placings in the finale. I can do it!

Happy Birthday Lola!!!!!
She turns 97 today!! Amazing and she's going strong. Many years to come and I can't wait to visit. I love you Lola!

Lolo and Coffee
My 96 year old Lola explains my Lolo's love for good coffee back in the early 1940s in the Philippines. Amazing. I wish I could of enjoyed a good cup of coffee with my Lolo.
